Inspired by the blog Why We Write and looking for a way in which ordinary viewers and fans could show support for their favorite TV shows and movies during the the labor actions that started on November 5, 2007 with the Writers Guild of America strike and continuing through the negotiations between the AMPTP and each of the two actors unions, SAG & AFTRA, this blog was created to allow those who watch the output of their favorite TV and film writers, directors and actors a venue to express their support for their favorites and solidarity with the entertainment union members cause: fair employment contracts to be negotiated in 2007-2008.
The blog will contain essays and entries from various viewers and fans as well as links to action items that ordinary fans and viewers can take to help win fair compensation agreements for all of the creatives who make the entertainments that touch and shape our lives for the better.
